Tre Croci
Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro PDO – Classic Method (CRU)
Tre Croci is a single vineyard located in Garofano in Savignano sul Panaro. Spanning over 1.9 hectares and with a privileged exposure to the south/west, it is characterized by old vines dating back to the late 1970s. This vineyard, situated near the Panaro River, has a unique soil composition that enhances the tannin of Lambrusco Grasparossa, giving the wine a distinctive character compared to the one of the Passanello vineyard.
The predominance of silt gives the wine a sharp tannin, making it ideal for prolonged ageing. Tre Croci is usually picked at the end of September and during the first ten days of October, when it reaches full ripeness.
